Berkeley SkyDeck Batch '21 | UC Berkeley's accelerator backing Fusion Dynamics with capital and Silicon Valley mentorship

Fusion Dynamics has been selected for Berkeley SkyDeck Batch '21, one of the world's most competitive university accelerators. The program includes a $200k investment that will be used to speed up commercialization of our plasma actuator platform across aerospace, thermal management, and advanced cooling applications.

$200k in seed funding plus the SkyDeck mentor bench give us a clear path to tighten productization, regulatory readiness, and US market entry while keeping our engineering pace high.

Why SkyDeck Matters

SkyDeck combines a global investor network with UC Berkeley's research depth. As part of Batch '21 we gain:

  • Access to UC Berkeley faculty and alumni mentors spanning aerospace, materials, and deep-tech commercialization.
  • Customer discovery and US go-to-market support through SkyDeck's corporate partners and demo days.
  • Capital efficiency via the $200k investment and follow-on funding pathways tied to milestone delivery.

What This Means for Partners

With SkyDeck backing, Fusion Dynamics can move faster on US partnerships and joint demonstrations. We are opening a track for OEMs, airframers, and data center operators to co-develop plasma-enabled systems that reduce drag, improve thermal resilience, and cut power draw.
